Web Application Development
Web applications built around your users' workflows
Web platforms, dashboards and customer-facing applications, built around the workflows your users rely on.
Overview
Fyznix builds web applications: customer-facing platforms, internal tools and dashboards. Each project begins with an agreed scope, covering who the application serves, the workflows it must support and what the first release includes. We plan the architecture before writing code, design the interface around those workflows, and build in increments, keeping you updated on progress as the work moves forward. Accessibility and performance are taken into account as features are designed and built, and testing covers the workflows your users rely on before each release.
Outcomes
- Agreed workflows and a defined first release before any code is written
- An interface designed around how the application will actually be used
- Accessibility and performance taken into account as features are built
- Incremental development, with regular updates on progress
Approach
Discovery
We map the users, workflows and data the application has to handle, and agree what the first release covers.
Architecture
We choose the application's structure, data model and integrations before development starts, and explain the trade-offs.
Design
We design the interface around the agreed workflows, including the states users meet along the way: empty, loading and error.
Development
We build in increments, keep you updated on progress, and take accessibility and performance into account in each feature.
Testing
We test the application's main workflows before each release.
Frequently asked questions
Can you work on an existing web application?
Yes, if it is built with Next.js, React or Node.js with Express. We start by reviewing the application's current structure and codebase, then tell you honestly whether it is a good fit and agree with you what to extend or improve.
Do you provide hosting or support after launch?
We can deploy the application on AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform or Firebase. After launch, support such as bug fixes, maintenance, updates and further development can be agreed to suit the application and your needs.
